Job Overview:
ProAct is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Associate to support our pharmacy services team. Under direct supervision, you will handle essential data entry tasks associated with medication orders and customer service requests. This role requires strong organizational and computer skills, as well as a commitment to accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter incoming prescription information and select the correct billing and shipping methods for patient orders.
- Manage and direct incoming calls, assisting with customer inquiries and ensuring member satisfaction.
- Resolve payment-related issues on accounts and orders, working closely with members as needed.
- Maintain reasonable productivity levels, adhering to supervisor expectations.
- Assist with training and orienting new team members.
- Complete all required regulatory and mandatory training programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Pharmacy technician or related certification
- Experience:
- Prior experience in customer service or a related field is required.
- Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of medications, physician orders, and pharmacy systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in computer and keyboarding skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be punctual and available for all scheduled shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Successful completion of pre-employment and/or random drug screening.
- Continuous monitoring of eligibility, including compliance with exclusion and disciplinary requirements.
