About Kadima at Luzerne
Kadima at Luzerne is a charming, 37-bed facility located just outside the city limits of Hazleton, PA, easily accessible from Routes 309 and 80. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized, resident-centered care in a supportive and scenic environment. We’re seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our close-knit, family-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Support residents’ physical and emotional needs, promoting their well-being and dignity.
- Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes in residents’ health to the nursing team.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents by adhering to facility standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other team members to deliver consistent, quality care.
- Document care activities accurately in line with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania.
- Entry-level position; prior experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Team-oriented mindset with a dedication to compassionate care.
Available Shifts
- Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
